Our new notification card
If we are unable to successfully deliver your parcel to you, we will leave you a notification card so that you are informed immediately. This card gives you access to all the important information about the current location of your parcel and the shipping status. For example, you can find out whether the parcel has been left with a neighbour, whether it has been taken to the ParcelShop or whether we will make another delivery attempt on the next working day.

What benefits does our newly developed notification card offer you?
- You can access the latest information about your parcel quickly, easily and digitally.
- You will receive precise delivery data, such as the location of the parcel, the dispatch status and the exact time of our delivery attempt.
- You can see directly whether an alternative delivery option can be selected for your parcel and can tell us whether we should leave your parcel on the second delivery attempt or take it to a ParcelShop.
This is how it works:
- QR-Code: You will find a QR code on the card - simply scan it with your smartphone and you will be taken to the parcel information.
- Website: Alternatively, you can go to www.gls-pakete.de and enter the six-digit track ID in the shipment tracking field, which you will find on the front of your notification card.
- Service: If you have any problems retrieving your parcel, you are welcome to contact us! You will also find our service number on the notification card - our colleagues will be happy to help you over the phone!
Are you often not at home?
Give us a permanent drop-off authorisation. Simply define a location, such as your garage, patio or tool shed, and our delivery driver will leave your parcels there independently in future.
